Book of Revelation with Br. Don Mouton, FSC

Christian Brother Donald Mouton, FSC, former president of the College of Santa Fe, discussed the Book of Revelation, using The New American Bible for reference. This version of the Bible provides a good translation of both the Hebrew and Greek, as closely as possible. The New American Bible, sponsored by the Roman Catholic Church, is a collaboration across many denominations of scholars working together, both Christian and Jewish. There is an interesting discussion about the new translations of the Bible and how this inter-faith cooperation has improved the overall translation of Scripture as well as the history of translations and how we have gotten to today’s current version.
The symbology within The Book of Revelation is discussed at length in this fascinating conversation between Br. Don and Bill O’Donnell, host/producer of Spirituality TV.
