Brother Joseph Schmidt, FSC By popular demand, Bro. Joseph explains how to pray our experiences, from greatest to least. He describes new views for praying daily life. He emphasizes Thomas Merton’s notion that we are always in God’s hands, and gradually come to know ourselves in His care. St. Teresa of Avila teaches that self-knowledge is the foundation of prayer. So we should learn to know ourselves by digesting daily events, which speak God’s message. Come, delight in praying what happens, and in journaling your daily experiences. If you already know this process, then deepen it with Brother’s help. Rejoice that God joins us in each instant, and find Him in that gift. Everyone is welcome. Advance registration is possible, but not required. Attend what fits your schedule.
